The Code Enforcement Officer is the first stop before doing most any construction in town. Building permits and plumbing permits are submitted to the Code Enforcement Officer for review and approval.

Building permits are required whenever a structure is constructed, demolished, added to, or moved. You must get your permit BEFORE you start work. Building permits are required for mobile homes and double-wides as well. Mobile homes must meet minimum state guidelines including ingress and egress windows and meet all fire codes.

Building permit applications are available at the Town Office or click on the link below to download the application. These applications can be completed and turned in at any time to be reviewed by the code enforcement officer when he is in the office on the first Friday of every month.

​​Many projects will also require that you get plumbing permits. Plumbing permits are available only from the Plumbing Inspector. Please contact the Randy Hall, for details.
